Making a Dandelion in Maya (Part 8)

Animate – to bring to life.

The dandelion clock now has some variation when in flight. What I need to check now is whether the rotations of individual seeds are convincing.

Having 3D motion blur is a blessing, but the render times shoot up to 4mins+ on half resolution. It might end up with an average of 8mins per frame, but there is only 100 frames in this shot and I do have the budget for this.
